The short version
- You create an account with your work email. People from your company who sign up share one company workspace; your chats, ICPs, accounts, network and LinkedIn data stay yours.
- You connect your LinkedIn account on a secure sign-in page hosted by Unipile, our LinkedIn connection provider in France. We never see your LinkedIn password.
- RayAI | CJ only reads LinkedIn, and only what it needs. It never writes to LinkedIn: no messages, reactions, comments or posts.
- LinkedIn's rules restrict third-party tools. Connecting may lead LinkedIn to limit your account. You decide whether to connect.
- You can see what RayAI | CJ reads in Connectors → LinkedIn, and you can disconnect at any time.
- RayAI | CJ never sends connection requests or InMail, and never stores your connections' connections. It shows how many mutual connections you share with someone; LinkedIn itself shows who they are.
- Every account starts with 1,000 free credits for AI and research. Credits have no money value.
- We never sell your data or the data of people in your network.
1. About these terms
RayAI | CJ ("RayAI | CJ", "we", "us") is operated by Toss the Coin Ltd, a company incorporated in India, registered at 1a, Bheemanna Mudali St, Natesan Colony, Alwarpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600018. These terms cover your use of RayAI | CJ. By creating an account or using RayAI | CJ, you accept them for yourself and for the business you use RayAI | CJ for. We ask you to confirm this when you start, and again before RayAI | CJ uses your LinkedIn account. If you do not agree, do not create an account, connect LinkedIn or use RayAI | CJ.
2. Who can use RayAI | CJ
- RayAI | CJ is for business use. You must be at least 18 and use RayAI | CJ for your work, not for personal or household purposes.
- Creating an account. Anyone can create an account with their work email. Personal email addresses (such as Gmail, Outlook.com or Yahoo) can't be used to create one.
- Each account is for one person. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email to your work address. Keep that email account secure, and tell us at gowtham@tossthe.co.in if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your company workspace. When you create an account, we place you in your company's workspace, found from your email's domain (everyone with an @acme.com address joins the same workspace). If there is none yet, we create it. Everyone in the workspace shares its settings (time zone, when the daily data is ready, how Account Intelligence finds accounts), its company website, its offerings and its use-case library. Anyone in the workspace can build, edit and approve its use-case library and the offerings it starts from, and everyone sees the result. Everything else stays yours: your chats with CJ, your ICPs, your accounts, your network, your LinkedIn data and your credits. If your email domain isn't only your company's, tell us and we will move you.
- Shared walkthrough account. For a supervised walkthrough, we may let several people use one shared RayAI | CJ account in turn. Each person connects only their own LinkedIn account, and we reset the shared account, including its LinkedIn connection, after each use.
3. What RayAI | CJ does
- Finds upcoming business events from public web sources and links you to the organiser's page to register. We are not the organiser. Event details can change, so check the official page before you book.
- With your permission, reads your LinkedIn account to show people in your network who are linked to an event, short profile summaries and recent posts. It never writes to LinkedIn.
- Builds an ideal customer profile (ICP) from what you tell it or your website, and ranks people in your network against it.
- Reads your company's public website to draft its offerings and a library of how companies use what you sell.
- Account Intelligence: the companies you track, researched from public sources, with each one's priorities, who matters there and why now. When you open an account (or ask CJ who to talk to there), RayAI | CJ runs one LinkedIn people search at that company for people who match your ICP. For the people named there, RayAI | CJ checks on LinkedIn whether you are connected (1st, 2nd or 3rd degree) and how many mutual connections you share, to show you intro paths. "See who ↗" opens LinkedIn's own list of those mutual connections in your browser.
- Uses AI to summarise, categorise, rank and draft. Drafts are text for you to copy and send yourself. AI can be wrong. Review everything before you act on it.
4. Connecting your LinkedIn account
- How it connects. We use Unipile SAS, a company in France, to connect your account. You sign in yourself on a secure page. We never receive your LinkedIn password. While you are connected, Unipile keeps your sign-in session and a copy of your LinkedIn messages, stored in France.
- Only your own account. Connect only your own LinkedIn account. Never let someone else sign in as you, and never sign in as anyone else.
- Disconnect at any time in Connectors → LinkedIn. When you disconnect, RayAI | CJ stops all LinkedIn activity at once and asks Unipile to delete its copy of your data within 30 days.
5. LinkedIn's rules and your risk
- LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts the use of third-party software and automated tools with LinkedIn accounts. LinkedIn does not endorse or support RayAI | CJ.
- Using RayAI | CJ with your LinkedIn account may lead LinkedIn to warn you, or to limit, restrict or close your account. We reduce this risk with daily limits and pacing, and by never writing to LinkedIn. We cannot remove it.
- You choose to connect and accept this risk. You are responsible for your own use of LinkedIn and for following LinkedIn's terms.
- If LinkedIn contacts you about RayAI | CJ or restricts your account, tell us. We will pause all activity on your account.
6. What RayAI | CJ does on LinkedIn, and what it never does
- Your list of 1st-degree connections.
- The About and experience sections of a person you open, and, in the background, of people likely to fit your ICP whose current employer RayAI | CJ doesn't know yet.
- People searches for your ICPs and for the people in your Account Intelligence accounts: 2nd and 3rd-degree people, your degree of connection to them and how many mutual connections you share (intro paths).
- When you open an account in Account Intelligence (or ask CJ who to talk to there), one people search at that company for 2nd and 3rd-degree people who match your ICP's roles and places: one page of 10, at most once per account every 14 days unless you press Search again.
- Recent posts of the people in your Smart Feed: people in your Account Intelligence accounts, people who match your ICP, people you ★ Shortlist and your 1st-degree connections, from the last 14 days.
- Public LinkedIn posts about an event you choose.
- The LinkedIn pages of companies your connections work at (public company facts), and company search results when you ask for companies like your ICP (company facts only, never people).
- Sends messages, reactions or comments, or publishes posts. RayAI | CJ never writes to LinkedIn.
- Sends connection requests or InMail.
- Stores your connections' connections. RayAI | CJ shows your degree of connection and how many mutual connections you share with someone; it never keeps who those mutual connections are. "See who ↗" opens LinkedIn's own list, in your browser.
- Makes introductions on your behalf.
- Keeps messages from people you are not talking to in RayAI | CJ.
- Uses LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator.
Limits. To protect your account, RayAI | CJ limits what it reads. Today the limits are, each day: about 100 profile reads, up to 20 people searches (for your ICPs and when you open an account; 50 pages of 10 people in all), up to 50 intro-path checks for people in your accounts, the recent posts of up to 50 people for your Smart Feed (up to 100 a day when you press Refresh), 20 post searches about events, 50 pages of company search results (10 companies a page) and, after the first full read of your network, about 3,000 connections; and about 90 company page reads in any 24 hours. We may lower these limits to keep your account safe.
7. Your permissions
- RayAI | CJ has one kind of LinkedIn access: reading your network and posts. It is required while you are connected, because RayAI | CJ cannot find people or posts without it. If you do not want it, do not connect, or disconnect.
- There is no permission to send, react or comment, and no switch that turns any of that on: RayAI | CJ never writes to LinkedIn.
- You can disconnect at any time in Connectors → LinkedIn. Disconnecting stops all LinkedIn activity straight away.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- Any message you send from a RayAI | CJ draft is your own message. It is truthful and lawful, identifies you and your business honestly, and does not claim a meeting, referral, relationship or result that did not happen.
- You stop contacting anyone who asks you to stop.
- You follow the laws on commercial communications that apply to you, such as the CAN-SPAM Act if you email people you meet through RayAI | CJ.
You will not use RayAI | CJ to:
- harass, stalk, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- make decisions about anyone's employment, credit, insurance, housing or eligibility for anything;
- build, sell, rent or share lists of people, or export LinkedIn data in bulk;
- send spam or messages to people who have asked you to stop;
- infer or record anyone's health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status or other sensitive traits.
We may suspend features or accounts that break these rules.
9. Your data and other people's data
- Your account. We keep your name, email and sign-in records to run your account. Our Privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
- People in your network. You decide whom to approach and why. We process their data on your behalf, only to provide RayAI | CJ to you. We never sell it, and we never combine it with other customers' data. People in your company workspace never see your network.
- Where data is kept.
- Our app, sign-in and database run in the United States, on Railway.
- Unipile keeps LinkedIn session and message data in France.
- Our AI requests go through OpenRouter to Anthropic's Claude models, under settings that keep no copy and never train on your data.
- How long we keep it.
- Message text: up to 180 days.
- People you never act on: removed after 30 to 90 days.
- Smart Feed posts: shown for up to 14 days.
- Backups expire within 89 days.
- Removing a person. You can remove any person from RayAI | CJ at any time. If someone asks us to remove them, we delete their data from your account.
- Closing your account. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Copies in backups expire within 89 days. Your company workspace's shared settings, offerings and use-case library stay with the workspace for your colleagues.
- Activity when you are away. If you do not sign in for 5 days, RayAI | CJ pauses reading LinkedIn for your Smart Feed until you return.
10. Other services
RayAI | CJ works with LinkedIn, Unipile (the LinkedIn connection), Railway (app, sign-in and database), Brevo (sign-in code emails), OpenRouter (AI requests) and Anthropic (the Claude AI models behind them), Exa (web search for events, company websites and company research), Apollo (company data, when your workspace has it switched on), and event organisers' websites. The sign-in code is the only email RayAI | CJ sends. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their services or content.
11. Fees and credits
- RayAI | CJ is free to use for now.
- Every account starts with 1,000 credits. Credits pay for CJ's answers, scoring, the Smart Feed, drafts, research and web searches. Setting up is free: building your ICP, drafting your company's offerings, the first scoring of your network and your use-case library use no credits. Reading LinkedIn itself uses none.
- When your credits run out, the features that use them stop until more are added. Credits have no money value: they can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and unused credits are not refunded.
- We may change how many credits an account gets and what uses them.
- If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you at least 30 days before any charge, and you can choose not to continue.
12. Ownership
- You own what you put into RayAI | CJ, such as your messages and your ICP. You let us process it only to provide RayAI | CJ to you.
- We own RayAI | CJ, including its software and design.
- If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
13. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using RayAI | CJ and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts other users' LinkedIn accounts at risk, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering RayAI | CJ. We will give you notice where we can.
14. Disclaimers
RayAI | CJ is provided "as is". We do not promise that event details, AI summaries, rankings or drafts are complete or accurate, or that LinkedIn will keep working with RayAI | CJ.
15. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
- we are not liable for any action LinkedIn takes on your account;
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if more.
16. Your responsibility for claims
You will cover our reasonable costs of claims that arise from the messages you send yourself, your use of LinkedIn, or your breach of these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will tell you in the app. For important changes, we will ask you to agree to the new version before you go on using RayAI | CJ, and again before RayAI | CJ uses your LinkedIn account.
